Philippe-Alexandre Valiquette (Born February 14, 1987 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian professional baseball pitcher who is in the Seattle Mariners minor league system. A relief pitcher, Valiquette can throw up to 103 mph.[1]

Valiquette was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 7th round of the 2004 MLB Draft. He was added to the Reds' 40 man roster after the 2009 season to protect him from the Rule 5 Draft.[2] On March 18, 2010, Valiquette was optioned to the Double-A Carolina Mudcats.[3] Valiquette was selected to play in both the All-Star Futures Game and the Arizona Fall League in 2010.[4] Valiquette was released from the Reds on August 21, 2011. On Augst 22, 2011 Valiquette signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners which included an invitation to major league spring training in 2012[5]
